Additional Information: Established in 2002 by Donald & Catriona MacRitchie (the founders and now former owners of Skye Express), MacRitchie Highland Distribution is an independent, family owned and run business and was set up to serve the distribution needs of the manufacturing sector in the Inverness area. With depots, including secure warehousing and storage facilities, in both Inverness and Glasgow, the Company offers nationwide distribution services and also operates regular distribution services from the Central Belt to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, including next day deliveries to all main line destinations. In 2006, an international flavour was added to the operation with the commencement of European work and the Company now undertakes regular continental runs - with Belgium and France being principal destinations.
