Royal visitor for Search Impex

When Brenda and Jim Newsome from Search Impex set up their display at the Transport News Scottish Rewards in Glasgow recently, they didn’t expect to have a Royal Visit.

But that’s exactly what happened when HRH Princess Anne, The Princess Royal, dropped by to have a look at the comprehensive display of die cast model trucks in Scottish hauliers’ liveries that were on show to the 6oo guests at the event.

Jim, managing director of Search Impex, commented: “It was an honour to have a royal visitor come and see us. The event as a whole was a fantastic showcase for the transport and logistics industry in Scotland and to have Princess Anne there presenting the awards made it even more special.”
