Commissioned to mark the occasion of Manchetts Recovery’s 60th anniversary in 2021, the models have been produced exclusively for Search Impex by WSI Models as a certificated Limited Edition and come complete with a bespoke window display box.

Manchetts original company was started in 1961 by George Manchett with mainly agricultural and machinery repairs and a small amount of motor fuel sales at the now head office in Burwell Cambridgeshire. Now a 4th generation family business the group of companies encompasses everything automotive with car and commercial dealerships, an accident repair centre and vehicle recovery.

Manchetts Recovery in Cambridgeshire and Suffolk specialise in damage free recovery. Company Director Sean Manchett believes in investing in bespoke equipment such as the JCB Fast Trac with Syren heavy winching equipment for off road winching and the Mercedes Unimog with bespoke winch and bodywork by Syron. A Foden 6×6, a Scania R480 rotator crane and more recently a Volvo FMX 6×4 fitted with Falkom equipment and body styling by Johan Van der Zand from Holland are all noteworthy specialist recovery vehicles to be found within this impressive fleet. The team of technicians and operators that run and take care of these vehicles are passionate about them and the job they do.

Manchetts Rescue and Recovery provide 24/7 cover for all vehicle breakdown solutions across Cambridgeshire and Suffolk and also boast the brightest green and yellow livery in East Anglia!
