JST SERVICES MAKES SMALL WORK OUT OF 25 YEARS!

Derbyshire based promotional model trucks specialist Search Impex is pleased to announce the release of a Scania R730 Streamline Topline (8×4) solo tractor unit, customised in the striking livery of specialist Scottish operator JST Services (Scotland) Ltd.

Commissioned to mark the occasion of the Company’s 25th anniversary, the models have been produced exclusively for Search Impex by WSI Collectibles and come complete with commemorative anniversary box sleeve and individually numbered Limited Edition certificate.

Based in Ayr, south west Scotland, JST Services was established in 1993 by John & Linda Scott. With the efforts of a dedicated team, the business has grown to become one of the largest timber handling businesses in Europe, whilst at the same time diversifying into shipping and port handling solutions.

JST Services take great pride in their fleet of vehicles which have become a familiar sight throughout the west coast of Scotland and across the country. The business is particularly proud of its achievement in successfully developing highly effective mobile port handling machines. These are delivered using specially adapted tractor units – such as the Scania R730 Streamline Topline 8×4 on which the model is based.

On the scale model truck, however, a nice little feature is that collectors will, if they wish, be able to add a 5th wheel (supplied) to the model, so enabling the JST Scania unit to be used in a heavy haulage scenario limited only by imagination.
