Customised promotional model vehicle specialists, Search Impex, are pleased to announce the forthcoming release of a 1:50 scale DAF XF Euro 6 Super Space (6×2) tractor unit with 3 axle, curtain trailer, customised in the instantly recognisable livery of well known Scottish operator, David Murray Transport.

With its white, burgundy and Ayres red paintwork, adorned with Murray Clan tartan banding and featuring an airbrushing of a Scottish piper, “Danny Boy” is one of the latest DAF units to join this attractive fleet.

The DAF (the third model truck to be commissioned exclusively through Search Impex by David Murray Transport) will be produced by WSI Collectables as a certificated, Limited Edition.

Founded in 1987 by David Murray (who, very sadly, passed away in 2011), the Company began life with one vehicle which he purchased to undertake the haulage of agricultural produce for a local Carnoustie Company. Since those early days, the business has grown greatly and now specialises in the haulage of drinks and dry goods. It operates a fleet of more than 20 trucks (predominantly DAF) and 45 trailers, offering a UK wide distribution service, as well as having warehousing and storage facilities in Carnoustie.
