The latest chapter in one of our most popular commissioned model series has arrived with the release of a 1:50 scale Scania R500 XT 6×4 heavy recovery truck, finished in the distinctive livery of Crouch Recovery.

Produced exclusively for Search Impex by WSI Models as a certificated limited edition, this impressive new model joins a growing collection of Crouch Recovery releases that have become firm favourites amongst collectors. Previous commissions have included the Volvo FMX recovery truck, LTM 1090 crane, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter service van, MAN heavy recovery truck and DAF XG recovery truck, all of which have now sold out.

Combining exceptional detail with accurate livery reproduction, the model captures one of the latest additions to the Crouch Recovery fleet. While based on a Falkom recovery body rather than the Boniface unit fitted to the actual vehicle, it remains an impressive representation of the real-life Scania, complete with its memorable registration plate, TOW 3X.

Founded in 1948, Crouch Recovery has evolved from a small family-run filling station and recovery service into one of the UK’s leading vehicle recovery specialists. Now spanning four generations of the Crouch family, the business operates a nationwide and European recovery network supported by strategically located depots, specialist equipment and a dedicated 24-hour control operation.
