CLASSIC FOR ALEX ANDERSON!

Promotional model vehicle specialists, Search Impex, are pleased to announce the release of a 1:50 scale Volvo F88 (4×2) tractor unit with tandem axle, classic flatbed trailer, customised in the livery of well known Scottish operator, Alex Anderson. The models have been produced in conjunction with WSI as a non-exclusive, open release and are part of the UK Classics 200 series of models. Each model comes complete with a WSI certificate stating that the model is limited to a maximum run of 200 pieces worldwide.

Based in Bo’ness, West Lothian, Alex Anderson operates a large sawmills, producing bulk & baled sawdust and woodchips. Known for running beautifully liveried trucks and trailers, Volvo has been a favoured marque in the fleet for around 40 years. The superb Volvo F88 is part of an impressive collection of vintage trucks which have been lovingly restored by Alex Anderson. With traditionally hand sign written livery, the Volvo F88 is in full working order and owing to its regular appearances at truck shows it will already be a familiar sight to collectors.
