Promotional model trucks specialist Search Impex is delighted to announce the release of a Scania S580 Highline (6×2, twin wheel tag axle) tractor unit with a 4 axle, step frame low loader trailer, customised in the livery of well-known Irish operator Donnell & Ellis Heavy Haulage Ltd. The models have been produced exclusively for Search Impex by WSI Collectibles as a certificated Limited Edition (205 pieces). Based in Omagh, Co Tyrone, in Northern Ireland, the Company was established in 1990 and remains as a family run concern, now benefiting from more than 25 years’ experience in the heavy haulage market. Whilst offering a general road haulage service, the Company is best known for specialising in the movement of quarry equipment, large industrial plant and heavy machinery throughout Ireland, the UK and into continental Europe. Always image conscious, Donnell & Ellis prides itself on the appearance and reliability of its vehicles, as well as on achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. The well presented fleet comprises a variety of units, (ranging from the more standard 6×2 axle configurations, through to powerful and impressive 8×4 units), which are used in conjunction with a wide range of specialist trailers – from 3 & 4 axle extendable flats and 3 to 7 axle extendable stepframes, through to 3 to 8 axle low loaders and a range of semi modular equipment. Complete with its own abnormal load escort vehicles, Donnell & Ellis can undertake all aspects of planning and moving long, high, wide or heavy loads by road & ferry. Donnell & Ellis have also recently introduced a refreshed and up-dated livery – something which keen truck spotters will almost certainly already have noticed. The first trucks to be embellished with the new livery (and, incidentally, also the most recent additions to this heavy haulage operator’s fleet) are a pair of Scania S580’s – one of which is now available in model form!
