Derbyshire based promotional model trucks specialist, Search Impex, is delighted to announce the release of a 1:50 scale DAF XF 530 Space cab MY2017 (6×2) heavy recovery truck, customised in the livery of Welsh operator, Ken Williams Recovery.

The models have been produced exclusively for Search Impex by WSI Collectibles as a certificated Limited Edition (125 pieces).

With its Head Office in Fforestfach on the outskirts of Swansea and a second depot in Carmarthen, Ken Williams Recovery has been “on the tow” for around 40 years and provides high quality vehicle breakdown and recovery services across South and West Wales. Its fleet of recovery vehicles, coupled with great experience and knowledge, means this operator is capable of providing recovery services for a wide range of vehicles, from cars and light commercial vehicles, through to HGV’s, buses and coaches.

The DAF XF (on which the model is to be based) is one of the latest additions to the fleet and comes embellished with Prince of Wales Feathers and Welsh flag logos, as well as a personalised registration plate – KW21 TOM (Tom being the driver!). And just like its real life counterpart, the die-cast model will be finished in Ken Williams’ distinctive livery, complete with the requisite trimmings, and so is sure to make an attractive addition to any model truck collection.
