This latest commission celebrates one of Scotland’s best-known transport brands with a 1:50 scale Volvo Aero (6×2) tractor unit, complete with a 3-axle curtain trailer, finished in the distinctive livery of Pollock (Scotrans).

Produced exclusively for Search Impex by WSI Models as a certificated limited edition, the model captures the instantly recognisable Pollock identity, including its distinctive turquoise, gold and red colour scheme and the “Delivering Winners” branding associated with the wider Gregory Group.

Established in 1935 by William George Dunn Pollock, Pollock has a proud history spanning more than 90 years. Originally operating as a local haulage business in Corstorphine, Edinburgh, the company has grown into a major transport and warehousing operation, with its head office in Bathgate and operations serving customers across the UK.

A particularly distinctive feature of the Pollock fleet is the tradition of individually naming its vehicles and incorporating Scottish tartan into the livery. Introduced in the 1960s, this has become an important part of the brand’s identity and remains a familiar sight on Pollock vehicles today.

Pollock (Scotrans) is now part of the Gregory Group, alongside other established Scottish transport brands including Hayton Coulthard and ARR Craib. The Pollock name and its distinctive identity continue to feature prominently across the fleet, ensuring that this latest Volvo and curtain trailer combination makes a fitting addition to the Search Impex collection.
