Customised promotional model vehicle specialists Search Impex have recently completed another large order for leading UK Builders’ Merchant Travis Perkins.
The model, a 1:25 scale Volvo FH (6×2) dropside rigid truck with crane and customised in Travis Perkins’ latest livery, has been produced exclusively for Search Impex by Finnish manufacturers Emek, known for producing larger scale models for younger enthusiasts. It is the first Volvo rigid to be produced in the new Travis Perkins livery. The model benefits from a multitude of ‘play’ features including a working crane, opening dropsides and pull down hydraulic ram stabilisers at the rear of the truck. It comes complete with 4 pallets and a pallet fork attachment for the crane. Travis Perkins, is one of the UK’s leading builders’ merchants, and with more than 600 branches nationwide, is a main supplier to the building and construction market.
