Maci’s Pride

This latest commission highlights one of the most recognisable names in Scottish transport with a 1:50 scale Volvo FH Aero 460 Euro 6 6×2 tractor unit and 3-axle refrigerated trailer, finished in the iconic colours of Hayton Coulthard Transport and proudly carrying the name “Maci’s Pride”.

Produced exclusively for Search Impex by WSI Models as a certificated limited edition, the model recreates a modern refrigerated transport combination from a fleet that has become a familiar sight throughout Scotland and beyond.

Established in 1916, Hayton Coulthard Transport is one of Scotland’s oldest haulage businesses. Now managed by the fourth and fifth generations of the Coulthard family, the company operates a modern fleet from multiple locations across Scotland, providing transport and distribution services to a wide range of customers.

As part of a joint venture with the Gregory Group, Hayton Coulthard continues to combine traditional family values with the resources and expertise of one of the UK’s leading transport organisations. Despite its growth and development over more than a century, the company remains firmly associated with the professionalism and high standards that have defined its reputation for generations.

Combining Volvo’s latest FH Aero design with the distinctive Hayton Coulthard livery, “Maci’s Pride” remains a fitting tribute to one of Scotland’s most respected transport operators and a standout addition to the Search Impex commissioned model range.
