Customised promotional model trucks specialist, Search Impex, is delighted to announce the forthcoming release of a 1:50 scale Renault T high (6x2) with 3 axle, curtain trailer, customised in the well-known livery of Aberdeenshire based operator V G Mathers Ltd.
The models will be produced exclusively for Search Impex by WSI Models as a certificated Limited Edition.
V G Mathers Ltd., was founded more than 50 years ago back in 1968 by Vic Mathers who, sadly, passed away in 2022 in his 87th year. The haulage operation, based in Kintore on the outskirts of Aberdeen, continues to operate as a family business and remains true to its founding principle of seeking to offer both a flexible and personal service. Nowadays it runs a total of 7 trucks (a mix of Volvo, Scania, Iveco and more recently Renault) with, mostly, curtain trailers, but also a couple of flatbeds.
Known for general haulage, the Company works throughout the UK (and occasionally into Europe) and the trucks often cover in excess of 100,000 miles a year. Amongst customers served is the very well-known and respected manufacturer of specialist temperature controlled and bespoke vehicles, Gray & Adams – and the livery on the curtain trailer pays tribute to V. G. Mathers’ longstanding partnership with them.
Although a relatively small haulier, V. G. Mathers punches well above its weight in terms of awareness amongst the model collector and truck enthusiast fraternity – helped, of course, by the fact that the trucks and trailers are traditionally liveried and have a distinctive colour scheme, topped off with the iconic Company eagle logo.

The models are expected to be priced around £174 each (including UK delivery & VAT). We do NOT require any deposit payment. We will simply notify you as soon as the model is available and only at that time will we require payment in full.
