Derbyshire-based promotional model vehicle specialist Search Impex is delighted to announce the forthcoming release of a 1:50 scale DAF XG+ 530 (6x2) Falkom heavy recovery truck, customised in Richford Motor Services’ “Lest We Forget” livery.
Please note : The model will be based on a Falkom recovery truck (not Boniface, as per the actual truck). Richford Motors is fully aware of this and accepts there will be some differences in specification between the model and their actual truck.
This is the first time Richford Motors have commissioned a run of 1:50 scale models and they will be produced exclusively for Search Impex by WSI Models as a certificated Limited Edition.
Based in Alfreton, Derbyshire, Richford Motors was established in 1990 to provide a 24 hour breakdown service for light and commercial vehicles. Recovery operations undertaken can involve anything from motorbikes and cars through to buses, coaches and HGV’s. A wide variety of vehicle types within the fleet, including service vans kitted with the latest diagnostic tools and commonly used parts, enable Richfords to cater for all commercial vehicle rescue and recovery requirements. The diverse fleet includes small vans and light recovery trucks through to heavy recovery vehicles, cranes and low loaders to move any commercial vehicles from any eventuality. The business continues to invest heavily in recovery equipment and the DAF XG+ (on which the model is to be based) is one of the latest additions to this impressive fleet now numbering in excess of 350 vehicles - all of which are kitted out with the latest high spec recovery equipment.

The models are expected to be priced around £171 each (including UK delivery & VAT). We do NOT require any deposit payment. We will simply notify you as soon as the model is available and only at that time will we require payment in full.
