Customised promotional model trucks specialist, Search Impex, is very pleased to announce the forthcoming release of a 1:50 scale Scania 450S High (6x2) tractor unit with 3 axle, curtain trailer, customised in the instantly recognisable and well-known livery of Gregory Distribution.
(Note : At customer's request, the curtain trailer model will not have a tail lift).
The model will be produced exclusively for Search Impex by WSI Models as a certificated Limited Edition.
Based in Devon, the business was started in 1919 by Archibald John Gregory who hauled coal from the station to the local wool factory with a horse and cart. Nine months later, the horse died and was replaced by a 2.9 litre, 4-cylinder Model T motor lorry – this move marking the start of the Gregory family's entry into the motor transport industry.
