Customised promotional model trucks specialist, Search Impex, is delighted to announce the forthcoming release of a 1:50 scale Vlastuin Torpedo (6x2, twin wheel tag axle) tractor unit and 3-axle, bulk tipper trailer, customised in MGL Group’s Tynedale Roadstone livery.
(Note: The models will be based on WSI’s existing bulk tipper tooling. MGL Group is fully aware of this and accepts there will, inevitably, be some differences in specification between the model and the actual tipper).
The model will be produced exclusively for Search Impex by WSI Models as a certificated Limited Edition.

Tynedale Roadstone sits within MGL Group’s asphalt production and quarrying division and is highly experienced in the production and supply of bituminous macadams and asphalt products. It operates from two production plants, one being a 12-acre mixed-use site located in Newburn, Newcastle upon Tyne and the second at Barton, close to the bustling market town of Richmond in North Yorkshire. All materials are developed, sampled and tested in the Group’s purpose-built in-house laboratory in accordance with their accredited quality system. This ensures that British Standards, including any relevant proprietary specifications, and the requirements of Highways England are met. The asphalt products are suitable for a wide range of applications, including footways, landscape areas and multi-use games pitches. Heavy duty asphalts are also used for industrial pavements in port facilities, industrial estates and on HGV hard standings.
As one of only a handful in the country, the new Vlastuin Torpedo (on which the model is to be based) is a recent and flagship addition to the Company’s extensive fleet. It blends the haulier’s traditional heritage design with modern flair - and having already appeared at several trucking events so far this year -T-cab is certainly proving to be a real head-turner.

We will simply notify you as soon as the model is available and only at that time will we require payment in full.
